Intended use

AskPublicHealth is designed for research, education, and exploratory public health analysis. It is not intended for:

• Clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, or medical decisions
• Real-time disease surveillance or emergency response
• Any use where errors in AI-generated SQL could cause harm

No warranty of accuracy

The tool uses AI to generate SQL queries and interpret results. AI-generated queries may be incorrect. Data reflects the most recent available release of each underlying dataset and may lag current conditions by 1–2 years. Always verify important findings against the primary data source.

Rate limits

To prevent abuse, queries are limited to 20 per hour per IP address. Automated or bulk querying is not permitted.

Underlying data licenses

All datasets are publicly available US government data. Use of underlying data is subject to the terms of the originating agencies (CDC, NCHS, University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute).

Changes

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
